Coach Chipchase joins the P-W program in 2009 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. He was in charge of the throwing program at St. Johns High School and Middle School for the past 7 years and coached an average of 50-60 throwers per season. Coach Chipchase is among the area's most educated throwing coaches and continues to learn his craft as he has been a fixture at many of the state's throwing clinics and seminars every year. Among his greatest accomplishments was coaching his daughter Becky (who is now a freshman at SVSU) to a national qualifying spot for the discus in the AAU National Championships. He also helped Becky attain the USATF State High School Record in the Hammer Throw.  When not coaching, you'll find Dick at home with Beth...his wife of 22 years.
